Modern style hotel, friendly reception staff, lovely swimming pool, clean room and fabulous bathroom. Free guided tour of the old town delivered by a knowledgeable local historian. Perfect location for visiting the Cité. Hotel car park available. Efficient and cheerful staff, with helpful recommendations for restaurants. Comfortable room with correct amenities for the price. Excellent beds and delicious meals at the hotel's restaurant.

I was initially disappointed as my room wasn't ready upon arrival, but the staff at Mercure Carcassonne La Cite quickly resolved the issue and provided me with a complimentary drink for the inconvenience. The hotel's location at the bottom of the medieval city is perfect for exploring, and the pool was a refreshing bonus. Despite a few minor issues with towel availability and the sofa bed, the room was well-appointed and had a spacious bathroom. The free parking and medieval city tour offered by the hotel were also great perks. I had a pleasant stay and would recommend this hotel.

Great location near medieval castle, few minutes walk. Nice outside pool, clean comfortable room. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent food in the restaurant, with a good breakfast choice. Lovely gardens and secure pool area.

I had a wonderful stay at this place! The location was excellent, in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to the main entrance of the old city. I loved the spacious and comfortable room, with a great bed and pillows for a good night's sleep. The lobby bar was a highlight, serving delicious drinks, and the restaurant offered amazing food. The staff, from the receptionist to the cleaners and waiters, were friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. The hotel also had great amenities like a swimming pool and a sun terrace, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the view. The free parking was a bonus, making it convenient for me to explore the area by car.
I would definitely recommend this place to others.

This hotel is conveniently located close to the historic cité and all the restaurants, making it easy to explore the tourist attractions and enjoy the local cuisine. The hotel is just outside the castle walls, so it's only a short stroll into the old city. The public areas are poor in terms of decor and atmosphere, but the rooms are clean and comfortable, providing a good place to rest. the breakfast offered is great, providing a nice start to the day.
The hotel lacks atmosphere in both the bar and the public areas.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff at the reception were extremely friendly and helpful. The superior room I upgraded to was spacious and comfortable. The hotel is located very close to the castle, just a few minutes walk away. The breakfast was excellent, with a good variety of options. The cleanliness of the hotel and the quality of the facilities were top-notch.
